Hi! I’m Betsy, co-owner and one half of of Lily Floral Designs. I’ve been flowering weddings and events for 15 years now! I’ve been fortunate enough to work in cities across the country gaining experience and knowledge of the floral industry!

In 2019, after living in Charleston SC for 3 years and becoming a mom to sweet Josephine, I decided it was time to move back home to KC and join forces with my longtime friend and now business partner Lily. Because 4 hands are better than 2 and 2 brains are ALWAYS better than 1!

When I’m not in the studio flowering you’ll find me sipping iced mochas year round, listening to WAYYYY too many true crime podcasts, exploring all the best local restaurants, practicing my home chef skills and trying to be the best mom to my sweet girl.

Starting and co-owning a business (especially during the height of COVID 😵‍💫😵‍💫) has been a labor of love and equal parts challenging and rewarding. However, there’s something really amazing about getting to wake up everyday and do what I love… and actually be able to support myself and my little family Knowing that I’m setting an example for my kiddo, that she can do or be anything she what’s in life is really just the most rewarding feeling ever.
